Lawn Renovation & Beautification
Sod
We take great pride in our sod work, every installation we are improving and fine tuning our process. Before laying new sod we go we ensure that the ground is properly prepared to receive the new sod. For new installations this can be as simple as grading the existing area, fertilizing the soil and laying the sod. for established lawns, we need to remove the existing grass and sometimes remove layers of soil, sand or even gravel and replace it with fresh top soil. We will discuss the process required for your specific application in great detail before giving you a quote!
New Seeding
Sometimes seeding is a simpler option, we can grade the area, fertilize and spread seed. Other times new soil is needed and the project gets a bit more complex. Seeding is general a cheaper option than sod but sometimes only marginally.
Over Seeding
This is something we tend to pair with aeration and fertilizing. This is usually a lawn maintenance service. Over Seeding helps thicken and rejuvenate your lawn. Typically this service is recommended in early spring and/or early/mid fall. Request a quote and we can discuss this option as a seasonal package or a one time service!
Aeration
Aerating a lawn is key to prevent compact soil and dying grass. The process of aerating a lawn removes plugs from the soil allowing air, water and new seed and/or fertilizer to get into the soil. This helps prevent compacting of the soil, can reduce thatch, promotes grass growth and can even help smooth out bumpy lawn over time. Almost all lawns will benefit from aeration most especially lawns with high foot traffic. We recommend this service in the spring after your initial cleanup but, this service can be performed any time in spring summer or fall. We usually perform aeration as a package with fertilizer and over seeding once or twice per season depending on your lawns needs.
